20th Anniversary Gala Celebration |

Our 20th Anniversary Gala Celebration was held on March 23 at the historic Wentworth-by-the-Sea Hotel in New Castle, NH (near Portsmouth)
with 167 guests present.
During the evening we recognized how God has used Family Builders Ministries to save and strengthen marriages, giving hope and encouragement to thousands of families.
Founder and President, Rev. Willie Batson, shared what God has put on his heart for the future as we move into our next season of ministry. Dr. Gary Chapman, author of the bestselling Five Love Languages,
was our keynote speaker. He spoke on the the two essential ingredients of long-term relationships
- expression of love and overcoming difficulties. Another feature of the evening
was the giving of the first "Family Builders Back-from-the-Brink Award" to a couple whose marriage has been saved from
the brink of divorce.

In addition to celebrating, we wanted to raise a significant amount of money to help us move forward in answering God's call to build great marriages and families. The complete cost of this event
was underwritten by friends of Family Builders Ministries who strongly believe in what God has called us to do. That means 100% of every donation given that night goes to help us build hearts of hope.
God answered our prayers as more than $48,000 was raised in
cash and pledges. Praise God from whom all blessings flow! We have

by her husband, David Gilchrist (right), and Erik Pedersen (left),
who is married to the Batsons' other daughter, Courtney.
